Through granting foundations, we have been able to initiate a “grow our own” philosophy for developing competent qualified instructors for our programs. Annually, our Instructors and Assistants are trained on the Learn to Skate USA curriculum, first aid, and classroom management.
We are very proud of our Instructors and Assistants and this component of our program. It allows us to keep our expenses down, keep our employment costs local, and help our youth develop future employee skills in a nurturing environment.
