We are in the process of moving from a Learn to Skate Club into a Full Club with US Figure Skating.  Once this is completed we will be able to offer you many additional opportunities to grow as a Figure Skater.  Even though we will eventually be a full US Figure Skating Club, we will still offer our current Learn to Skate Program.  Our goal is to provide our skaters everything they need to be a successful skater in each level.

As we transition, we have created different levels of particpation and opportunities within our Club. On your registration form you will see Learn to Skate, Junior and Diamond Club programming.  Each level offers different programming and you can choose what fits best for your skating needs. 

Diamond Club – Open to Pre-Freeskate thru F6+ and Adult 6+
  • Sunday Programming includes Off-Ice, Edging, Spins, Jumps, 30 minute group class and 30 minutes of practice ice
  • Access to Thursday Night Specialty Classes 
  • Access to Club Locker Room
  • Access to rent Locker in Club Locker Room
  • Access to purchase DEFSC and also Diamond Club Apparel
  • Diamond Club Members will be asked to fulfill a volunteer commitment to the club.  
  • Diamond Club Activites - We are planning  Special Club Activities for just Diamond Club Members.
  • Access to purchase Low and High Ice
  • Access to Private Lessons on Sundays, Mondays and Thursday during Low and High Ice.
  • Eligible to particpate in our Annual Figure Skating Show.  (Registration is available in December - fee $100).  Diamond Club members who register for the show will be included in the Diamond Club Show Number at no addtiional charge.
  • Eligible for Specialty Numbers in the Annual Figure Skating Show.  Numbers are based on skating level.  Specialty Number fee - $75.00
  • Exhibition Performance Opportunities – Hockey Games, WarHawks Game, Competition Showcase, etc.
  • USFS Testing Prep

Junior Club - Open to Basic 4 through Freeskate 1 and TBARS
  • Sunday Programming includes Off-Ice, Edging, 30 Minute Group Class, 30 Minute Practice Ice 
  • Monday 30 Minute Group Class.  This class will introduce skaters to a wide variety of different skating curriculums to diversify a skaters experience.  Examples include:  Interpretive Skating, Synchro, Moves in the Field, Power Skating, Jumping Patterns, etc.  Each week will be a new curriculum that your skater will not want to miss.
  • We will be offering Parent Education for Junior Club Members.  Come when you come and learn more about the sport!
  • Junior Club Members will be asked to fulfill a volunteer commitment to the club.  There are many opportunities from being an Ice Monitor to helping out at the Competition.  At the beginining of the season, we will provide you with a list of opportunities to get involved.
  • Access to purchase DEFSC Clothing
  • Junior Club Activities – We are planning special activities for just our Junior Club Members.
  • Eligible to Partipate in our Annual  Figure Skating Show.  (Registration available in December - fee $100)  Junior Club members who register for the show will be included in the Junior Club Show Number at no additional charge. 
  • Access to purchase Low Ice
  • Private lessons available on Monday and/or Thursday

Learn to Skate – Snowplow thru Basic 6 and TBARS
  • 30 minute Group Lessons
  • Classes held on Sundays and Mondays
  • Ice Monitor Volunteer Commitment
  • Eligible to Participate in our Annual Figure Skating Show -  (Registration avialable in December - fee $100) 
  • Access to Private Lesson Competition Package (6 weeks-additional fee) & Holiday Competition Package (4 dates - additional fee)
